The studio is situated at Laburnum Cottage, Satterthwaite the family home since the early 1970s. The studio until recently was a small room in Laburnum Cottage where Robert has worked from for the past twenty years.
Since starting printing in house we have steadily increased our product range, now having a large selection of cards and prints we found that we had little room for display. The solution as been to develop a dedicated area for the display of his original works of art, prints and cards.
Laburnum Cottage is a grade 2 listed building formally a coaching inn dating back to 1600s. The new studio is situated in a barn attached to the house which used to be the living quarters, stables and hay loft. The barn conversion has been tastefully done to reflect the former use of the building and create an excellent area to display Roberts work.
